1) In order to make a reservation, go to the homepage.
2) First select your language in the menu section (at the top of the page)
3) Then go to the reservation section at the homepage
4) Click on the field “Rent location” and select the city where you want to pick up your rental car. If the return location is different from the rent location, check the checkbox “deliver at different point”. A new field with “Return location” will appear. Thereafter, select the return location.
5) Click on the calendar fields to select the pick up- and return date and do not forget to select the (car) pick-up and return time. Then click “apply”.
6) Click the orange “Search” field.
7) All the cars will appear at the “Explore Vehicles” page. (If a car is not available, the fields of the cars are grey and the dates will appear that the car is already reserved.)
8) After selecting your desired car, click the box “rent now”.
9) Click the button “view all specifications” to read all the technical information and features of your chosen car. You can also view the extra options, the rental terms, the image gallery and comments. (On mobile you can scroll this bar.)
10) If needed, select the quantity of the options you want by clicking the +. By clicking the “i” you can read more information about the options. The prices of the options are daily (per rental day) or single.
11) Proceed the reservation and click “Pay now” (though you do not need to pay, you will only make a reservation.) You will learn the estimated total now.
12) Please check the data you entered (rent/return location, date and time.) In case you have selected a wrong date or a wrong pick up or return location, then click the pencil (which you can find behind the text “booking information” and select the correct location and/or date/time. Click the search button again and proceed points 7-11 again.
13) Please check the amount of the rental fee and the add-ons, and check the amount of rental days.
14) Scroll down to the billing details and fill in all the required fields with a red mark. (Please fill in your home address, not your holiday address.)
15) Again re-check all the data you entered, including your e-mail address, after completing.
16) Proceed with the payment; select if you want to pay the rent by bank transfer or pay on delivery. Attention: banktransfer might take 1 – 3 weeks! Your rental fee must be transferred on our bank account before the start of the rental period.
17) Click the checkbox “I have read and agree to the website terms and conditions”
18) Click “Place order”. If everything went well, then you will immediately receive a reservation confirmation in your mailbox: check your spam email box as well. Congratulations for your reservation!
19) If you didn’t receive a reservation confirmation, then please send us a WhatsApp or call us (+90 552 785 0732), or send us an e-mail, and we will check if we received your reservation.

Yes, you can cancel your reservation. If you want to cancel your reservation, you need to pay attention to the following:

  • cancellation must always be made in writing (Whatsapp, e-mail)
  • in case of cancellation of the rental agreement by the renter, it is possible to cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the start of the rental period.
  • in case of cancellation of the rental agreement by the renter within 24 hours before the start of the rental period, € 75,00 will be charged to the renter
  • If the renter or person(s) travelling with you is/are infected with the Covid-19 virus, the renter can always cancel free of charge, however an official document proof of infection, provided with name, address etc. must be provided to Karam Rent a Car. (If no official document of the Covid-19 infection can be provided, the cancellation fee still remains.)

Attention: Karam Rent a Car also reserves the right to cancel a rental car reservation/agreement under certain circumstances, expressly including weather conditions, without mutual costs. This will be done, among other things, if the safety of the renter threatens to be endangered, and is entirely at the discretion of Karam Rent a Car.

You must inform Karam Rent a Car by Whatsapp or e-mail (in writing) as soon as possible when your flight time is changed, delayed or when your flight is canceled. If no information is given to Karam Rent a Car, your reservation will be canceled if the vehicle is not picked up within 1 hour of the agreed start time. In addition, the renter is still obliged to pay:

  • For each hour that the rental car is picked up late, up to 2 hours (later than the agreed start time) € 3,00 per hour will be charged.
  • If the rental car is picked up 2 hours or more later than the agreed start time, the rent of 1 daily rate will be charged extra to the renter.
  • If the rental car is not picked up at all, the renter will still owe the rental fee in full to Karam Rent a Car.

You can request a free reservation change of car, up to 48 hours before the start of the rental period. You must send us a request in writing, by sending us an email or Whatsapp message. The vehicle change is only made in accordance with the specified reserved dates and is only possible if the other car wished for, is still available.

  • If a change to a more expensive rental car is possible, the renter will be obliged to pay the additional rental fee.
  • If a change to a cheaper rental car is possible, no refund will be made on the rental fee.

Yes, there is a minimum booking day limit for the following cities:

  • A minimum of 5 rental days is required for Adrasan, Antalya, Beldibi, Çamyuva, Çıralı, Demre, Göynük, Karaöz, Kemer,  Olympos and Tekirova.
  • A minimum of 7 rental days is required for the cities Belek and Kaş.

PAYMENT QUESTIONS

You can choose 2 different payment methods as following: 

during the online reservation at our website:

    • by banktransfer (Attention: banktransfer might take 1-3 weeks. The amount must be transferred to our bank account before the start of the rental period. The bank might calculate high transfer costs to abroad.
    • pay on delivery

on delivery:

    • banktransfer (only from Turkish bankaccounts)
    • cash payment
    • creditcard or bankcard

You can pay the rental fee in Euro’s, Dollars or Turkish Lira’s. 

The amount of the deposit is € 100,00.

  • If the renter did not cause any damage or if no damage is caused by third parties, the deposit will be returned within 2 weeks after the rental period has ended.
  • If the renter did cause damage or if damage is caused, then the deposit will be deducted from the damage amount.

The amount of the deposit of € 100,00 can be paid in Euro’s, in Dollars or Turkish Lira’s and can be paid with the following payment options:

  • creditcard
  • bankcard
  • cash
  • banktransfer (only allowed from Turkish bankaccounts)

RENTAL CAR QUESTIONS

We will always try to provide you with the car you booked; at Karam Rent a Car you don’t make a reservation for a category, but you reserve a specific brand and model of a car.

However; in unforeseen circumstances, such as

  1. if this car will be returned too late by the previous renter, or
  2. if this car is damaged, have small technical problems or is declared total loss caused by a car accident, originated during the previous rental

then in this case we are forced to replace your booked car for a car in the same category or higher category.

The mileage limit is as following:

    • With a rental period of 2-7 days the renter is entitled to 300  km. daily
    • With a rental period of 8-31 days the renter is entitled to 3000 km. per rental period
    • With a rental period of 31 days and longer the renter is entitled to 100 km. daily.

If the renter exceeds the mileage/distance limit, then Karam Rent a Car will charge the renter € 0,15 per kilometer.

Yes, we allow for up to 1 additional driver per booking, without costs. The additional driver will need to have their passport and driving license verified at Karam Rent a Car and the additional driver need to be added on the rental contract.

If you don’t mention the additional driver on the contract, damage is not insured in case of an accident.

Delivery and pick-up is only made free of charge in Kumluca.

Delivery costs apply for all other cities.  You can learn the delivery fees in article 3.3 of our rental terms & conditions. You can also read it while reserving your car at the homepage, the delivery costs and the minimum required rental days are mentioned behind the locations.

Our rental cars are mostly delivered with empty tank, sometimes with another fuel level. Our policy is to return the rental car with the same level of fuel as you received it.

Don’t you want your car to be delivered without fuel? In this case you can add an amount for fuel to your car rental reservation. You can choose to order the following amounts of fuel

– € 25,00 (approximately half a tank of fuel; this is depending on the exchange rate of the Turkish Lira, the chosen car and if your car needs gasoline or diesel.)
– € 50,00 (approximately a full tank of fuel or an almost full tank of fuel; this is depending on the exchange rate of the Turkish Lira, the chosen car and if your car needs gasoline or diesel.)

We always provide you with the purchase receipt of the fuel, so that you can be sure that your ordered amount of fuel has actually been spent on petrol or diesel. We also always convert the Euros into Turkish Lira according to the current Euro/TL rate on the day the car is delivered to you. That is our fair policy.

INSURANCE QUESTIONS

The rental cars of Karam Rent a Car are Basic Allrisk (CDW) insured. 

What exactly is allrisk insured/covered?

      • 1-sided accidents (damage such as to glass, tires, rims, headlights, mirrors, parking damage, interior damage)
      • 2-sided accidents (a collision with (an) other vehicle(s)
      • theft, fire, flood, earthquake and terror

Attention! A deductible of €500,00 applies for all damages covered under the All Risk Basic insurance.


Which damage is always excluded from coverage?

  • damage caused by violation, such as rally/off-road driving, driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs etc. (article 6.1 of our rental conditions)
  • damages due to braking, slipping, incorrect fueling, overloading etc. (article 6.2 of our rental conditions)

We offer you the following 2 extra insurances:

All Risk Super Insurance (€ 3,50 daily)

All-risk insurance which covers damage caused by:

      • 1-sided accidents (damage to glass, tires, rims, headlights, mirrors, parking damage, interior damage etc.)
      • 2-sided accidents (a collision with (an) other vehicle(s)
      • theft, fire, flood, earthquake, terror

Attention! A deductible of € 325,00 applies for all damages covered under the All Risk Super insurance.

All Risk Top Insurance (€ 7,00 daily)

All-risk insurance which covers damage caused by:

      • 1-sided accidents (damage to glass, tires, rims, headlights, mirrors, parking damage, interior & loss of keys)
      • 2-sided accidents (a collision with (an) other vehicle(s)
      • theft, fire, flood, earthquake and terror

Attention! A deductible of € 150,00 applies for all damages covered under the All Risk Top insurance.

ACCIDENT/MALFUNCTION QUESTIONS

  1. You only need to call the police (112) in following cases:
      • in case of death/injury in the accident
      • if alcohol or drugs are suspected
      • if a vehicle damaged properties owned by public authorities
      • lack of a driver’s license
      • lack of a car insurance
      • if the driver of the car involved in the accident is under the age of 18
      • if the parties can not agree
  2. In any case, take detailed photos and or videos of the accident area, road and/or crossing and damaged vehicles.
  3. Fill in the insurance damage report (located in the glove box of the vehicle,) together with the other party and both sign this report.
  4. Do not forget to take photos of the other party’s driver’s license, vehicle registration certificate and traffic insurance policy.
  5. If there are witnesses, obtain the necessary contact information.
  6. Do not move the vehicle from its place when the police should come. However, if there is a traffic hazard, you can move the vehicle to a safer place, but only after taking the necessary photos of the accident area and damaged vehicles.

Then we will try to help you and give you instructions what to do.

Attention: Always ask Karam Rent a Car permission first to let your rental car being repaired in a car garage. If you don’t inform Karam Rent a Car in case you have the car repaired yourself, than the repair costs will not be reimbursed by Karam Rent a Car.
